So I've taken my time to improve my character. I'm about to get my main level at 1080, with my alts just a bit from them. Have had lots of fun with this tier, particularly when I've got my engravings and am discovering the power of gems.
I purchased level 7-8 gems from every alt I have with every gold that I've earned thus far and still have some.
I've recently discovered that they're not really relevant after T3 (50 reduction in). I've been advocating for the game for a while and even though it's P2W the PVP game is scaled, as well as the players are accommodating to players of lower levels and will help.
However , I'm seeing my time of fighting the game ending... T3's 7 gems average, 10,000 lost ark gold. This is about $75 in real world... for 1 from 11 gems which aren't even top of the line. At the middle of T2 I've noticed of the warmness and acceptance basically gone. Content has become a challenge.
I've seen a lot of requirements for groups now regarding having all your engravings and gemstones and I'm sure this is going to get more difficult in T3. My question is: Is there a way to obtain high-level gems in T3 that doesn't cost more than $200 for one character?
Boss rush appears to drop lots of Gems that you can cube. Additionally taking part in Chaos Gates in T3 area and doing map share can yield plenty of Gems too.
I also suggest you create a group of friends or guild mates that you can meet with in order to get around the ridiculous'requirements' in joining groups of PUG. It will make gaming much more enjoyable.
Edit: I'm now using all Level 5 gems right now that I acquired without having to spend real money. Boss rush was a huge assistance. Working with Lv seven gems.
To preserve silver, you should not roll gems to gain a specific skill. If you happen to find an unrelated gem that has been cut up and rolled, roll it until it reaches a good ability (Any acceptable skill is sufficient for your class) then trade it in on the market and use the gold you earn to purchase the skills gem you need.
