Hello fellow red gunlancers. I was wondering if you have any tips that will help you to land consistently frontal attacks and avoid the "ugh you'll have to wait for the X pattern" Let's be honest. I want to dp whores with a focus on boss's head as long as I can, and not F my team.
Some encounters are simply an A for front attackers. For the sake of good luck, I'll go with Valtan G1 as well as Vykas G2.
Valtan G1 - Now as this guy is a very tauntable, it's not that an easy task to hit front attacks all by itself. However, it turns my entire squad of back attackers on me! This is because when i blast my shield and take him out my team is hit with 20k+ damage every time I take 3 hits and their rotations are disrupted. The question for him is, do you have any advice on how to dps him without using bleed to the left or right? Since both of the front attack classes use charges, there's not any good to wait for his attack to come through, since the moment he is finished, he will hit me with the next one before I finish my animation.
Vykas G2 - This is a different kind of case. In the first place she is a dashing girl who loves flying, disappearing, turing and all the other things we do not like. In reality, I can only make consistent frontals when she gets beaten or stunned. In addition, the final phase includes stacks, making it more difficult for everyone if we continue to get shotguns to put in a place.
Personally, i wasn't concerned that much prior to that because my static is a bit DMG however, with hell mode just around the corner, I'd prefer to pay it more pay attention.
PS: If you're in a back attacking I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this as well, even though I'm skeptical that most of the back attack strategies are applicable to front attackers.
The majority of the mechanics used that are involved in this game with regards to frontal attacks are averted when you strike the front with 35 degrees. It will give you more time to break up and counterattack while decreasing the chance of getting struck by a prone technique. For instance, for the people who are in Vykas who head bangs on the ground, they are more likely to engage in kicks, gold rings, purples spears, massive aoe often, cheap lost ark gold.
If they alter their positions only a little bit to the rear that of the indicator in front. They will be less susceptible to being struck by almost every mechanic, or are able to stay out of the way. Their damage-uptime is nearly the same, it is but more safely.
That can lead to higher overall DPS due to no HP drop or cc chain disruptions. The problem is control of the character and the lack of knowledge in moving. All of this will be cleared when Saydon is in the game if you are looking to be able to pass the damage checks.
