Lost Ark - T2-T3 Gem/Gearing Help

So I've taken my time to improve my character. I'm about to get my main level at 1080, with my alts just a bit from them. Have had lots of fun with this tier, particularly when I've got my engravings and am discovering the power of gems.  I purchased level 7-8 gems from every alt I have with every gold that I've earned thus far and still have some. I've recently discovered that they're not really relevant after T3 (50 reduction in). I've been advocating for the game for a while and even though it's P2W the PVP game is scaled, as well as the players are accommodating to players of lower levels and will help. However , I'm seeing my time of fighting the game ending... T3's 7 gems average, 10,000 lost ark gold . This is about $75 in real world... for 1 from 11 gems which aren't even top of the line.
