EA College Football 25 hasn't been released yet, but based on my experience with the game so far, it's clear that it's the best video game representation of football I've ever seen. 1. Stunning Visuals


The graphics in EA College Football 25 are groundbreaking. The player models, 3-D grass, lighting, and environments set a new standard for current-gen football games. The detail in the snapshots I've taken from gameplay is astonishing. The presentation also excels with multiple camera angles, mascots, cheerleaders, stadiums, and crowds enhancing the overall experience.


2. Fast-Paced Gameplay


EA College Football 25 plays at a faster pace than any previous football title. Initially, this felt jarring, but I quickly adapted to the dynamic movement and now find other football games too slow by comparison. The variation in speed among players makes controlling game-changing stars exciting and rewarding.


3. Generic Commentary


One downside is the commentary, which often sounds generic. With thousands of names in the game, integrating them into commentary would be challenging. The lack of player name mentions is noticeable and detracts from the otherwise high-level presentation. Hopefully, this can be addressed post-launch.


4. Road to Glory: Mixed Feelings


The Road to Glory mode has some excellent features, like choosing your star rating and determining which school to attend. However, the absence of high school games is disappointing. Additionally, the freshman year can be tedious if you're not a starter, with limited engaging activities for non-starters.


5. Enhanced Dynasty Mode with a Caveat


Dynasty mode has improved significantly, especially in recruiting. The inclusion of the transfer portal, new layers, tags, and a better UI and notification system are top-notch. However, the inability to create or edit recruits is a significant drawback. Customization options would have added much more depth to the recruiting experience.


6. Realistic Injuries, But Could Use Adjustment


Injuries are included in the game, enhancing realism and immersion. While I saw players sidelined for extended periods, in-game injuries seemed too sparse. Adjusting the injury slider from the default setting of 10 to around 20 or 25 might create a more authentic experience.


7. Limited Roster Editing


A major issue is the restricted ability to edit rosters. This limitation disappoints many fans who enjoy customizing their teams and players. Despite the game's strengths, this lack of customization could deter users looking forward to recreating their college football universe.


8. TeamBuilder Coming Post-Launch


TeamBuilder, a popular feature, will be available post-launch. The delayed release and lack of transparency from EA on this issue have been frustrating. Nevertheless, I expect the feature to be robust, despite restrictions on the number of schools you can add to a dynasty.


9. Road to the College Football Playoff


This mode offers a competitive experience against other players, adding to the fun. Finding a school that fits your play style and competing against others is exciting. The ranking system appears strong, and I anticipate playing at least five games per week in this mode.


10. Boost to Madden 25 Sales


EA College Football 25 will likely boost sales for Madden 25. The quality of gameplay in the college version hints at positive improvements for Madden. The MVP pre-order bundle, which includes top editions of both games at a discount, also contributes to this.
